Pastor Austin D. Hill is a dedicated and gifted servant who strongly desires to do God's will. He loves God’s word and God’s people. A native of Forest City, AR, Pastor Hill accepted his calling to preach the gospel at age seventeen.
After graduating from Forest City High School, Pastor Hill began his collegiate studies at Philander Smith College, majoring in Religion and Philosophy. While at Philander, He served as the Vice-President of the Preachers of the Philander Organization, where his leadership was paramount in engaging students to experience religious growth, faith-building, fellowship, and service.
He has over ten years of pastoral experience. His love for the congregation and the community allows him to focus on spiritual counseling, program management, congregational leadership, and community partnership.
Pastor Hill teaches Godly principles through faithfulness and sound doctrine. His desire is for New Shelby to be more than a church in the community, but a community of believers providing service and declaring the word of God. His love for his congregation and the people allows Pastor Hill to successfully bridge the gaps between generations.
